Kris and Jessica

Tuesday evening was by far one of the toughest challenges I have faced thus far. Not because of the children, they were adorable and extremly content for 4 month old twins. But because I am a natural light photographer shooting in fourescent lighting posed an incredible hurdle for me. When I left I will be honest, I was pretty down on myself. But I have had a few days to reflect a realized that with each experience I have there will be something I learn and take with me. I realized that life doesnt always turn out as we planned it and sometimes one might have a fussy baby, or a child that refuses to smile or horrible lighting but you do what you can to rise above it all. With that said, I want to thank Jolene for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to use your beautiful children as my guinea pigs for my business. Here are a few pictures from the evening.

Avery and Molly

I spent a wonderful evening with 5 year old twins Avery and Molly and their mother Jenny. They were the cutest little kids ever. They are both little mini versions of mommy and daddy. We did the shoot out at their house in Lake Amador Ranch on a 40 acre spread. I thought it would be a GREAT idea to take the children on a hike and try to make it fun for them. Well, this poor family was following my instruction and just about got bitten by a rattlesnake and then we walked into a pile of fire ants! Needless to say, the hiking days were over and I was feeling horrible. I scared the daylights out of poor Avery. But we did manage to get some beautiful shots in the comforts of their backyard! This family has such a neat and loving bond and it is VERY obvious in the pictures. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with them and I can only hope I have this bond with my children. Thanks again Jenny, Avery and Molly.

My Ryan

I couldnt help myself with this one. He is just so adorable and I had to show it off.

Larson Trio

Monday evening was such a great night for me. I had 3 of the most adorable and energetic kids. Scott who is 8, a little shy at first but a wonderful and cooperative young man. Liz and Zach who are 5 year old twins. Zach is just the cutest little guy ever which is very noticeable in his pictures. You can tell he is full of spunk and yet he is a bit mischievous too. And of course little Lizzy. She is just a beauty and LOVES to be in the spotlight but only when she is ready to be. Such a woman! ha ha. We had such a fun night and the kids all wanted me to come with them for ice cream afterwards too! Mom (Stacey), told me "don't you just love bribes"? Being a mom of 3 myself I had to agree! So here are a few pictures from the evening. Enjoy Larson family. Thanks again for letting me spend the evening with you all.
